A gentleman from another era, he spoke of himself as early as 1600. An intense garnet red, the nose delivers aromas of red fruit, cherries in alcohol and dried roses, hints of tobacco, vanilla notes, aromatics, hazelnuts, and chocolate. Concrete on the palate, with great complexity, mineral notes, and a balanced vigour, with acidity and tannins that give an expression of eternal youth, fruit and spice, and a long finish.
